Default Good Fighters Who Later Became...

Names on up and coming undefeated fighters records.

Howard Eastman seems to fit this now, as does Oscar De La Hoya, especially considering he SHOULD of lost to Sturm.

Iran Barkley was fed to a few undefeated fighters.

I don't know if this fits anyone better than Ross Puritty.

There is an awful lot of Fighters who started off as Prospects, become contenders, then melted away and stayed around too long as Trailhorse fighters, One Fighter I always think of is
Tom the Bomb Bethea, A tough Contender who upset World Middle Champ Nino Benvenuti, sadly for Tom in a Non-title Fight, He lost The Return, then Drifted into a Globe Trotting High Class Have-Bag-Will-Travel Journeyman, Upsetting a Prospect or two along the way, until he Eventually had nothing left to hold of the Young Guns.

Tom "The Bomb" Bethea A tough Worthy Competitor.

Yory Boy Campas. Except that he didn't have to wait until "later" to be the trial horse for undefeateds.

Roger Turner (22-0), Luciano Torres (13-0), Felix Trinidad (23-0), Raul Marquez (28-0), Fernando Vargas (14-0), the comebacking Tony Ayala Jr. (27-0), Esteban Camou (17-0), and John Duddy (17-0) were all undefeated when they fought Campas.

Campas was still on his way up when he fought Turner and Torres and was probably on his way down when he fought Ayala in their unusual both-in-decline crossroads fight.

But he's a good name, with well known, easily identified limitations. There may be a few more undefeateds in his future, and he could probably beat some -- although he's just the kind of guy that I'd rather see retire than fight again.
