Karl Mildenberger 70
Karl Mildenberger reached his 70th birthday in november. On the 10th September 1966 he had a big, his biggest fight against the great Muhammad Ali in the Frankfurt "Waldstadion". Mildenberger was stopped in the last round. Ali then: "I'm the prettiest black boxer and you are the prettiest white one."
"Today they all are laughing stock. They weigh about 120 kg and are only fighting with their power" - Mildenberger commenting heavyweight boxing of today. |
