Yeah, Khromov said in an interview that he'd chosen Omarov to compete for the spot. I suspect he beat Kuzmin in the selection sparring.

I fancy Ireland to get 3 more to add to there 3 already qualified in 49 Barnes 60 Joyce and 81 Ward, anything else will be a bonus .

Suprised that Uzbekistan is sending Atoev at MW. Before Worlds i had read that Atoev lost at Nationals but they decided to send him to worlds anyways where he proceeded to get knocked out by Japan's Murata (won Silver) in the opening round.

Lots of fog has stopped the flights from going. Therefore many nations arrived late.

Due to illness I unfortunately had to withdraw from the qualifier. Many years of training for this, but oh, well...

I fancy Joe Ward is getting the number one spot in 81 kgs.
