I know more than a few members of this forum feel that Hopkin's has been washed up for years...

Regardless, thoughts on the match?

How much will Hopkin's size advantage factor into the fight?

How will it look on both fighters, legacy wise?

It would be a bigger win for Hopkins than it would for Calzaghe at this stage belive it or not. Hopkins is 43, although still reigning champion, he has faded as a fighter and even though Hopkins would be the biggest name on Joe's record, his age will always take the shie of the victory.

For Hopkins he has a chance to fight a legitamate pounder 4 pounder who is 7 years his junior and add yet another name to the resume and become the only man to beat Joe Calzaghe.

Joe is fighting for thr Rings light heavyweight title and few million quid. The name is good but this fight has come half a decade too late. Calzaghe wont get the respect of beating a 'legend'.

Key factor will inevitably be whether at this age Joe holds the 175 pound weight well, or if it burns up just that little bit of extra agility he has which Bernard could take advantage of.
