I'll take Foreman in the same style of Foreman-Frazier 2. Liston has his moments but can't take the power and gets dropped a few times before the ref steps in and stops it

Foreman kills Liston whom had a better jab but a lesser chin than Chuvalo , and Chuvalo's chin is overrated just like everything else from d 1970s not named Ron Stander |

Liston is a bit underrated, or maybe Foreman is overrated, but I see Liston being able to absorb what comes his way, wait his turn ala Williams fights, and stop Foreman.
I think Liston is on even terms with Foreman in a lot of ways, but is more versatile, uses his jab much better, is better conditioned, and is a bit smarter in the ring. I think Liston hurts Foreman before Foreman hurts Liston. Liston KO8 Foreman |

Liston would shit himself, being a different world from sparring and George's overly-praising sound-bites. This would be a real fight and George is no shaky Cleveland Williams. He'll kick the dogshit out of Misty Liston and Liston will likely flop around like a bass with epilepsy on the floor to get out of the beating he'd no doubt be suffering.
The press: "What went wrong, Sonny? What happened in there?" Sonny: "Gee, I don't know. I punched him with every chemical I could buy from shady mafioso suppliers and he still whipped my ass. I thought we were just sparring! He said I backed him up there!" ![]() ![]()

Foreman would have likely walked through him. Every little bit of trouble Williams gave Sonny would be magnified exponentially.
I don't see a boxer keeping a prime George off without movement or stellar defensive moves, and Liston did neither well. He'd land some jabs and some hard shots, but Foreman would throw back, hard and with abandon, and he was the stronger, tougher human being. Foreman KO5. |

I think Liston will be jabbing Foreman and landing some big shots, i just dont think he has what it takes to put Foreman down. My head tells me Liston wins this fights by i just cannt imagine how he does it. So i will say Foreman by mid-late round KO/TKO.
