I'm interested in the outcome of this fight.
I tend to think that Bydenko is underestimated in the HW division. Does anyone have any comments on why he may not have lived up to previous expectations as I haven't see any of his later fights. |

I'll bet Bidenko wins every round.
I don't want to say that Charr is a bum or anything- he has done nothing to earn my disrespect. But it becomes more apparent every fight that he lacks anything that is going to get him to the next level. |

Taras has some excellent skills, but he doesn't have enough power to do serious damage. |

Charr didn't look too sharp, but Bidenko shouldn't have been rewarded for his spoiling and slapping (and looking damn near out on his feet from grazing blows every other round) either.
A draw is too close. Charr won on constant aggression. |

All of Charrs work came during the last 20-30secs of the round....Bidenko while not landing hard was still landing a throwing more than Charr a lot of the time....
Once again Charr proves he is not a prospect to really look out for seeing how easy Boytsov handled Bidenko a few years back... |

![]() Needless to say neither will crack the HW top ten, and it's a pretty sad top ten. ![]() Bidenko at least has the excuse of being shopworn. Charr doesn't... |

It was an even fight, I thought Charr landed the best punches but Bidenko landed more. After the point deduction the decision looks OK but I expected more from Charr, poor punching skills, throwing wide hooks all the time, very little defense.
Either he improves or a guy like Boytsov KOes him easily inside 6 rds. Wouldn't last 2 rds with a Klitschko. |

Hometown judges are the only thing that will save Charr from defeat in the near to the medium term future. I know that boxing agents almost had Oliver McCall over there a few months ago, to fight Charr. I picked Oliver from the beginning because Charr doesn't have the footwork or elusiveness to avoid Ollie's bombs. And, based on what's written here, it doesn't sound like Charr has the power necessary to keep McCall off of him. But that fight was scrapped. Too bad for Ollie.
