You can regain fire by beating a shot (according to Flomos) and one eyed Margarito?

I thought he was on decline, not based on Tony or PAC fight, but on Foreman and Mayorga. I don't think the match with Stewart was good for him, but he looked fresh and strong bs Margarito. Granted Tony is legit shot...but he's better than the two guys he looked so so against in Mayorga and Foreman. He's not prime bit he's not shot either.

Shot? No, definitely not as evidenced by the Mayweather fight. Also, I don't believe Mayweather broke him or something - in fact, Cotto fared better than expected. I do have a problem with people discrediting wins by calling the losing fighter shot when there's little evidence to it. I admit, Cotto is faded but this fight wasn't even close; no 154 version of Cotto would ever beat Trout.
Being shot at merely 32 is rather unusual as well. |

Hes not "shot"
but there are factors working against him at this point. hes not at his best obviously, thats been a fact for a while. hes very small for 154lbs. Trout is a crafty and good fighter. So when you mix the size, with all the other variables you get a very good fight on Cotto's hands that he just couldn't pull off the victory in. |
