I think Willis really frustrated Ruiz Jr at times (and he really frustrated myself with his hug, hold and headbutt techniques) but Ruiz Jr seemed to do what he needed to do. Ruiz Jr does need to use his jab more as it is a very good weapon but for some reason the jab seems to be a punch that most fighters have forgotten how to throw.

Fury looked impressive against Maddalone but sadly I think it said more about Vinny than Fury.

I was impressed to learn of Joseph Parker's debut, he could be one to watch.

He looks pretty decent, hard to see how good he'll become but this was just his second boxing bout. He may find that his lack of height could cause him problems but he looks very good for what was a 2-fight novice in that bout.

Well he did K-1 kickboxing, so boxing is half of that. He may at this point have only 4 pro boxing matches but in terms of experience he has more than 4 pro matches.

Considering the love for combat sports in Japan, how they love big men, and the complete dearth of native big men, if he's built well, he should become a draw there.

I had no idea that Bogdan Dinu was so young. He looks much older. That's really good news. Def the most promising of all the prospects, and supposedly he's now boxing full-time.

Fingers crossed that this guy starts getting bigger fights.

He's the most exciting of them all in my opinion.
Especially those combinations combined with his speed.

Also to the man who said Price would KO Ruiz, Ruiz has no chin issues and Price is suspect.
Also Ruiz has his very unorthodox speed, especially for a "fat boy".
Without proper care that extreme speed + Price his chin issues can be very dangerous for Price.

Ah I knew this was going to be dug up at some point. Gerber seems to have been a bust sadly though there is still a lot of promise in those tipped.

Ruiz may have the most upside though the fact Dinu has gone full time is a hugely interesting story that may well help change the scene of the Heavyweight division over the next 5-10 years. I was so scared Dinu was going to be a waste of talent.

Just to clarify, I wrote "...supposedly he's now boxing full-time. "

I don't know if this has been confirmed, though it's been written a few times in various articles. He was definitely negotiating with several management companies at the end of last year, so I assume it is indeed the case.

Does anyone know for sure?
