Of course it is. Obivously we don't need the controversey but he got his moment of glory. The same applies to others at that level. Would sky allow him headline a show. The rematch date with Enzo has been set. Shane's life has been changed.

How does the success of Brook/Hatton improve the sport?

let Boxnation grow and grow, subscribers will increase. Fighters being out as often as possible helps the sport. Sky simple don't have the dates.

A dedicated boxing channel means the money goes back into the sport.
You do realise Frank ****** is involved?

But who cares if its on ITV4 or Sky or BoxNation? Its still not a "mainstream sport" on BBC or ITV.

I don't buy the cost aspect of the problem (a lousy tenner) and I def. don't buy the principle side of the argument from people who were happily paying ****** though Murdoch for all those years.

Because, despite the one sided nature of the contest, it was a significantly better fight

How many people watched DeGale tonight? 50,000? (& I'm being super generous with those figures)

I know who I think is "making it"
I agree with everything - spot on.

But Frank didn't turn down the BBC or ITV to set up BoxNation. He set up as last resort. Sky didn't have the dates and the major terrestrial TV stations are interested.

BoxNation improves TV coverage of the sport and creates more events. If Frank took his stable back to SKY he would take dates away from other promoters.

What are the alternatives?

I think BoxNation should go nationwide on freeview but have 6 PPV shows a year. Although people would still complain about that.

Not a bad idea but id prefer if there was only 4 ppv a year.

You have the PPV when it is justified. Sometimes there could be 12 a year; sometimes none. It is not wrestling, you do not need to do it at the same time every year.
