Boxers shouldn't just fuck off to a new coach every time they get beat. Obviously there is something highlighted now that gallagher will need to work on with crolla, if this doesn't happen then yeh maybe he needs to move, but every coach will get slated for some weakness when a fighter loses. I'm not defending gallagher either because i actually think Stephen Smith has gone backwards since going to him, but i'd say crolla has come on loads since leaving arnie for gallagher.

Sadly .. his stock has gone down a little over the weekend .. so he has to change his name to "$10" Crolla for starters.
I wish him well though .. hes a decent fighter and a nice guy it seems ...but as has already been mentioned ... he needs to work on his defence. |

Billy would work wonders with Enzo Macc, sort his defence out and actually train him properly - unlike Enzo C. Probably a little too late in his career though. Saying that, the diet in that neck of the woods won't help Enzo stay at 175. There's currently a deal on in Leo's on Hamilton Rd where you get a free 330ml can of Irn Bru and a Highland Toffee bar with chips and a steak and kidney pie. |

I don't have a problem with Nelson or Burns, but I think what they've both done has become overrated. The only good wins in Burns' career are over a shot Katsidis, Moses and Rocky Martinez. He's got a belt in a very weak division and I'd pick him to be beaten by Vazquez, Abril, DeMarco, Acosta, Molina and Linares. If Broner moves up, he'd beat Burns easily too, so let's put it into perspective. They've won a world title, yeah, but Burns isn't a genuinely world class fighter and Nelson hasn't turned him into one, nor will he.
If Burns fought Crolla, Rees, Murray and Mitchell, I don't think he'd beat the lot of them. Whilst he's a 'world champion', as far as his ability goes, he's not much beyond any of his rival British opponents. I think everyone around him realises that too. |
