I had a lot to do with a bloke who was Troys personal trainer at the time and he was pretty much hanging the gloves up before the Trindad fight came up.... it was a money fight to cash out..... There was a rumour Troy actually backed himself to be KO'd but i won't go into that on a forum like this.

Troy had been fighting since he was 5yrs old and given the battles and the car accident was pretty much done by the age of 32yrs

Absolutely no contest. After the first few rounds Waters stamps his authority on Mundine and by round 8 it's a TKO win for Waters. Much better all round fighter

Mundines method of slick footwork moving the body and rolling the shoulders to avoid being hit is a much more effective method of defense. Troy by KO really? Mundines been KO"d twice in 50 fights both times by a solitary punch when he was ahead on points even when he lost to Kessler he won the early rounds and was outpointed by a better boxer but was never in danger of KO. Mundine in his prime fought the best in his weight class Ottke, Kessler, Echols and Green for a 2-2 record but he was never dominated never owned the way Waters was against Norris and Trinadad.

Waters has beaten an Olympic gold medalist.
Decent feat in itself.

For what it's worth I think you guys are selling Anthony very short due to your individual irrational and emotional hatred that is warping your reality.
Having fought and been beaten soundly by Anthony and having grown up watching waters, I feel that I am in a good position to judge.,
Anthony wins this fight so decisively that it is not even debatable.

On another note I hope you all cheer me on vs Felix and fingers crossed a rematch next year with Anthony. Should be another ******* and with my improvement could go either way this time.,

1987 you would've been 6yrs old

You must have been a good judge back then

I watched this fight live on tv. He totally outclassed Lloyd Hibbert in about 4 rounds. After this fight I knew we had a pretty special fighter on our hands. Not that Hibbert was that good, but Waters simply took control from the start and the gulf in class between them was pretty obvious

Seemingly a better judge than the adult version of yourself if you think any version of Waters beats any version of Anthony.

Pure ignorant hatred at its best!

Waters would not win a round against me, and was unable to beat Anthony.
Waters never fought the likes of Myself, Green, Soliman, Echols, Kessler, Ottke.

Bronco Mckart would be on par with Waters best ever win.

A green novice Mundine tore Waters brother appart.

Mundine is far greater!
