It's not a fight I'd advise Mitchell to take at this juncture.

He's simply not experienced enough against good quality operators to have a chance against Burns.

Unfortunately since the win over Johanneson his career has stalled badly, the two notable fights since then - the win over Murray and the KO loss to Katsidis, have been surrounded by pointless wins over bus drivers, late replacements and ''never been stopped'' turds.

Without a ''bridging'' fight he'd be dominated and stopped. In fact he probably would anyway but I'm trying to be neutral here

Allegedly don't want to make this fight now. Shame because would of been a *******. IMO Mitchell needs a new lease of life with another promoter, Eddie Hearn would be ideal. Mitchell needs to be kept more active.

I have never bad mouthed Kevin who is a good boxer and a sound guy, beleive me its a fight Ricky wants but Kevin's the one putting up obsticles,he needs to remember he's not the champion and should take what's on offer and get this fight on in the summer!
This fight will be in Scotland though!
