I AM a writer, you utter bellend, and I have been writing a book about the boxing industry as part of a wider piece on the entertainment industry. That was why I had been emailing Dunkin. But I have NEVER said I'm a boxing writer.

For all this "abuse" Khan suffered in the UK, he drew bigger crowds there than America by far. I think he moved because he was promised pie in the sky, to be made a new boxing superstar, but it hasn't worked out that way. His moves not been a huge failure but how much better off is he really? He has to go to another guys hometown to get a sellout crowd and his chances of being a big ppv star are almost zero.

I got in touch with Dunkin originally to interview Bradley when we had our Boxing Site experiment. That all fell apart but he'd emailed me back and I had been doing some other writing about UFC's business model. So I asked him about that, he answered and we swapped him esmails where he laid out, as an example, Tim's situation. It was a good illustration of how contracts are used to exploit sportsmen. I wasn't writing a book about Bradley or Shaw. It was originally an article, but I've got some good pieces that would make a solid book down the line. We'll see. I've got enough projects as is.
