Default Missing Boxer: Andreas Kotelnik

Where's he at? I haven't seen him since the Alxenader fight and that was in August of 2010. He's 34 now, is he retired or what?

The racist scumbag Don King is keeping him inactive. He's punishing Kotelnyk for schooling and exposing his black American hypejob Alexander the fraud.

Kotelnyk-Alexander was one of the worst robberies of all time.

He released this statement sometime late last year :

Quote:
"This year I determined the fact that my career is coming to an end. I do not lack the desire to train, but my old injuries manifest themselves [when I train]. As soon as I start training, [the old injuries] immediately return in my back, leg, and so on. I want to have at least one fight, either in America or in Kiev. If I do not get offers in the United States, then my fight in Kiev will be my last. This will be a ten round fight, a typical fight at the end of my career. I know my capabilities and I know what I could do to prove who the real champion of the world really is. But I do not have a manager who could help me [get those fights], I'm not able to do anything. I do not want to waste what I've worked for, for 25 years. I do not want to be someone's sparring partner or a [name] used [for] records." - declared Kotelnik.

damn that sucks to hear. I guess that robbery did take away some of his fire, but not as much as we thought. At least he knows when to hang em up and not keep fighting when he isn't capable

Wow sad to hear about this. I guess he was starting to become a high risk low reward fighter and might of been avoided eventually. If he wasn'tinjured he could of upset someone and get a good payday. Good luck to him if he does retire .

Kotelnik beat Alexander, but was badly robbed. It's a shame his talent is not being shown................

More than a few boxing fans almost said "**** it" that night...myself included.
