also khan seems pretty adament on having a s&c coach, i wonder why? surely he knows how to get himself into shape, the only thing i can think of the guy doing is spotting him? lol, and maybe a diet plan?

Haye has always looked in great condition but he's always had stamina problems and never was a 12 round fighter. I believe this is partly genetics as he's not built for that, but I also believe his training had something to do with it also.

Actually when training for Wladimir the training was orientated around fighting for short explosive bursts that would allow him to go 12 rounds whilst keeping his power for the full distance. His conditioning was fine for a fighter that like you stated wasnt suited for a a full distance fight, that problem was addressed in all honesty.

Haye's stamina was always turd, it tended not to matter much because he was usually capable of banging the opponent out anyway, but had he faced someone that could survive as he wailed away with wild right hooks trying to finish him off, he could have suffered a repeat of the Thompson defeat certainly.

Khan isn't knocking Peterson out, this guy might be able to make him stronger and moe inclined to stand his ground, which was his downfall last time out. He's simply got to find a way to back Lamont up and boss the centre of the ring. If he fails to do that he'll be beaten again.

Good move this, Haye was always in terrific shape for his fights and i think his conditioning coach had a lot to do with this

yeah, only problem with this is the last time khan listened to haye was when he hired that cuban coach on his recomendation, who in turn picked presscot, who in turn starched khan.
