And had one of his team tweeting during rounds, and was tweeting minutes before walking out to the arena
People like Paulie coz he's a two weight world champion with a major disadvantage, he can't punch for shit. He's got this far on pure skill and determination (and shit talking ). The heart he has shown during his career puts a lot of professional boxers to shame. It was an outstanding performance last night, Senchenko looked about 3 weight classes above him, but with all the advantages in the world he couldn't put a finger on Paulie.#TK ![]() It would be interesting to see how the judges saw it though

Paulie has adapted quite well, hes got slower and has stopped trying to use only his feet for defence because hes lost the bounce out of them. I actually think the waist and angles based defence hes started using would serve him much better now against Khan as well.
He seems a good guy and is always interesting commenting on fights on 5 live. I hope hes got good people looking after him, because a lot og sharks are going to look at him as easy pickings |

am chuffed for Paulie, always comes across well and plus he entertaining to watch, I like his style of boxing, just a pity he doesn't have the power and has a brittle right hand.
Either way though, what a clinic he put on, his jab killed Senchenko and he also landed some good right hands. |

Because he's a genuine guy, a great character for the sport and has heart in abundance, he never quits and always wants to fight the best. He's been beaten down by Cotto, Hatton and Khan yet has still come back looking to be world champ and now he's got it against a protected Euro bum in a fashion no one predicted.
Malignaggi is underrated, dude has great boxing skills, to get this far without any real hand power is no easy feat, to have to train knowing you're going 12 rounds every time takes dedictation and will. Imagine if he had power? He'd be right up there with the best today imo. |
