Default What now for Bellew?

Who, in an ideal World, would you like to see him fight next?

And just a quickie, how do you think he would fare up at Cruiser, both on the Domestic and World stage?

When does his contract expire with Sir Frank? I can see Frank dragging his heels and Tony not getting any fights till then.

European title is the way to go I think. There's no real need to rush to a ''world'' title, but being 29 and having already shown that he's essentially above domestic level at this stage it's time to step up in my opinion. Plus he certainly has the beating of Gutknecht.

I'm sorry, but that doesn't answer the question. Frank may be his promoter (manager for all I know) but its not one way traffic. Frank works for Bellew and not the other way round and I'm sure that any contractual agreement reflects this.

I would like to see him fight for the european, then fight cloud, shumenov or one of the others at the level below pascal, dawson, hopkins. And once - and I truly believe he will be - he becomes world champion get a rematch with Cleverly. I don't want him taking that rematch too soon.

I hope he does not go cruiserweight. I honestly do not think I can name a cruiserweight fighter, yet the light-heavy is one of the best divisions in my opinion.

Well he's already proved he's above domestic class at Light-Heavyweight so it's pretty clear he would be at Cruiserweight too considering it's a lot weaker division.

On the World stage at Cruiserweight, I don't know. I imagine he'd be a contender, the division has plenty of exciting fighters but in the quality is pretty poor. They often make for such good fights because they all have their own flaws. But no reason not to stay at Light-Heavyweight for me if, as he says, he's not struggling with the weight. Plenty of interesting fights for him there.
