He's not a typical upright Eurofighter but Ive never seen anything exceptional from Pirog & at 31, he isnt going to improve a great deal.

Golovkin would beat him easily as would Martinez.

Either one is a decent fight. Providing Hassan beats Bursak. (Or whatever his name is)

Agreed, either is a good fight. I'd prefer HNDNJ.

ha's's'a'n gu'dam n'i'j'i'k'a'm' would be a fantastic match.

where does ishida go form here. got a great win over kirkland now where do you go. back to japan title...which is alright but not great for world title ambition...sato match off? i'd like to see that. 2 good technical japanese world contenders. but knowing japanese boxing tradition, be surprised for both to avoid each other until enevitable 39 year olds retirement fight

Because he was fighting for the WBO title, Ishida had to renounce his boxing licence with the Japanese Boxing Commission and 'retire'. I don't know how long he'd have to wait to be able to reapply for it (if he can).

Ishida's with Canelo isn't he? Based in Mexico these days so I don't think he'll be going back to Japan.

Is he? That would be very odd, considering that he got robbed out of a deserved world title win against Canelo's brother... I'd imagine he has some bitterness toward the Casa di Alvarez..

Look at Charlie Big Potatoes by here, swooping in to deliver the full fight after I posted a measly 2 rounds. You prick.

Yep, just checked. He signed to Canelo Promotions/Golden Boy after the loss to Alvarez and trains in California with Rudy Hernandez now. Maybe they felt sorry for him, bringing him over from Japan to take his title.
