Default More Impressive in his Prime: RJJ or Mayweather?

I'm biased of course but I lean towards RJJ being more impressive in his prime years at 160-168. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pkMAf0ZHO_k&feature=related[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OwYYZBLyPqw[/ame]

Floyd has the full package and more.

Roy was exciting but I prefer Mayweather.

I believe that skills wise, Floyd towers over the competition more than Roy did but Roy was Neo in the Matrix man. Shit was magical.

Floyd easily, anybody who says Roy is a obvious highlight watcher, few remember how boring majority of his fights were and how he carried bums for no apparent

Jones.

To me, watching Jones is literally like watching a fighter from another planet, one where the gravity isn't so heavy and they've spliced that with film of some bum from earth where the gravity is prohibitive.

Floyd is special but Roy...**** me.

However. Being impressive and being affective aren't necessarily the same thing as we all know. Floyd has a great chin, I think. Roy? No.

Can't really argue against those that choose Roy, he was so damn good in his prime. An amazing athlete who was incredible considering his size aswell!

I can tell most of the kids saying jones didn't even watch boxing in the 90's or 00's and only watch youtube highlights of their favorite fights. Funny back when I watched RJJ on TNT channel nobody gave a shit about jones and most criticized his opposition and not finishing fights. RJJ was always a PPV stinker, nobody was a jones fan in jones "prime"

oh btw kids, its easy to look like superman when you fight cab drivers and washed up has beens. I could make brandon rios look like a skilled boxer if I put him in against the right opponent.

Depends on definition of "impressive". Roy was a phenom in his 168 prime, and virtually every fight there was a highlight reel knockout, flurry or whatever. Floyd doesn't quite have the same "wow" factor, and has a more orthodox base.

The question of who ranks higher historically is more difficult to answer.
