where does mccloskey go from here, have a rematch against a journeyman who was past his best days? i mean the lad has allot of thinking to do, the way i see had he carried on against khan he would have probably gotten stopped there as well. i think even living at european levels been pretty tough for him i remember that fight he had with that fouling italian he was getting bashed up a bit there aswell

none of these guys are world level they both get beaten by people who are either mid way world class (atleast corely does) or full on world class. given mccloskeys age and all its a hard road back for him. if he beats corely in a rematch no one would really give him the benifit of the doubt, he shouldn't have needed a rematch in the first place. and the fight should have been a routine one anyway.

It was a good stoppage, he was gone. He was gonna get one hell of a knock out, Mc was a sitting duck. He can kid on all he wants but his legs showed the real signs he was fucked

There's nuffin wrong with staying at British level..... That's all he is nuffin more! I actually couldn't see him dealing with Curtis woodhouse who was going to get the fight at one point! It's just embarrassing because he was hyped behind a great Britain banner and makes us look bad!!

Haven't seen the fight but the write up on sky sports website made it sound as though mcclosckey was winning easy and it was a daft stoppage? And one punch changed the whole fight? doesn't seem like anyone on here saw it that way
