it will be more like Pavlik-Hopkins in my mind. He can not ruin him physically because he doesn't punch like Tito but he can hurt him mentally by totally schooling him. That said Canelo will be a big underdog which will somehow diminish the psychological trauma

No, but it's kinda similar. Canelo is too young, but Floyd wouldn't destroy him like Cheato Trinicheat destroyed my boy Vargas.

with all due respect Vargas was fighting world beaters in their primes and looked good against them. Canelo has been carefully matched until now.

I'm not saying this just because of the last fight, I've seen many Canelo fights and he is a very skilled boxer technically, IMO moreso than Vargas was. I was not surprised at all by how he battered Mosley. Vargas was a good fighter but his technical boxing skill was not better than Canelo's is currently in my opinion. Canelo reminds me a lot of a young DeLaHoya skill wise.

floyd would not ruin canelos career like trinidad did to vargas. at this stage he would outclass him, but it would be interesting to see canelo land some heavy body shots on floyd, if at all possible.
