Feel free to post more than just 10 if you wish. Also you dont just have to base it on who has the bigger wins at the moment but also your own opinion of who is better.
Please post your own list, and feel free to comment on mine. Mine is by no means perfect. Don't just say i'm wrong and call me a retard, explain why if you disagree. I found Chisora really hard to rate as his ability is rated more on how well he did in fights he lost rather than his wins. Also if anyone is missing that may be an oversight rather than because i dont think he deserves to be there. Last edited by Ncc84; 05-08-2012 at 07:36 AM. Reason: Chisora moved from #22 |

YEssir! Although I do feel like Helenius/CHizzy was closer than some people think. . Chizzy was hitting mostly elbows, and gloves, but CHizzy deserved the win for being more active. . .
Oh yeah, one more thing. . . Foreman (and CHisora!) Hoooooooooooooooooooook!

With the HW division being in such disgraceful state and contenders not actually fighting each other and most of them instead fighting comedy opposition, it's difficult to rank them.
Wlad is by some distance the best HW on the planet. Vitali is a great deal behind, followed by David Haye, followed by Povetkin Chisora is decently high up on the list owing to 1. His beating of Helennius 2. His showing against Vitali He had a poor showing against Fury but it's well known (to anyone who watched the fight) that it was due to conditioning, and that in his best condition he is a tough fight for anybody. I personally rank on skills then resume, not the other way round. |

The current hw scene is strong, there is more depth in the division than before so there are more options for the contenders to face. In the past the top contenders would face each other more because there were not as many serious options. Look at the 91 top ten from ring; Evander Holyfield Mike Tyson Riddick Bowe Razor Ruddock Ray Mercer George Foreman Tim Witherspoon Tony Tucker Lennox Lewis Michael Moorer By the end of 1991 how many fights do you think there had been between those rated in this top ten? Make a list of the 25 from any year in the 70s and we'll discuss how it compares to now. |
