Default Fighter Dominates But also takes a beating?

What do you think.

Exmples of fights, where one fighter won a very clear or Wide decision (And won Fairly, no dodgy scoring etc.) But still took a beating.

For example I just watched Vitali vs Chisora, and he won a wide desision but took alot of punishment.

Manny vs Margo. Manny won nearly every round. But also said it was his toughest ever fight.

Any other examples? You could argue Cotto vs Mayweather, but prob not really.

Delvin vs. Wolak.

Both fights Delvin dominates Wolak but gets busted up in the process.

Pac-Margarito was the first one that came to mind. He dominated every round yet still managed to get six colors of shit beaten out of him.

J.C. Chavez sr. vs Meldrick Taylor I

Taylor dominated, but got busted up pretty bad. And most referees would have let him finish the fight, barely capable of standing upright.

Manny vs Margo. Manny won nearly every round. But also said it was his toughest ever fight. id say he took more punishment in the JMM fights he won or Cotto

Mesi vs Jirov, he was way ahead til he hit the canvas a few times late

Lennox Lewis vs Briggs
