Fantastic post Moneypaysbills! You're a credit to this forum, it's great to have posters of your ilk on here. I wholeheartedly agree with your thesis, we've seen Vitali countered and punished against slick defensive counter punchers like Byrd and more recently Solis. If Haye can slip Vitali's jabs, he can land his looping Hayemakers on Vitali's chin, especially as Vitali carries his left hand so low. If Haye can increase his output and find the openings, he can win a decision against Vitali, he did it against the larger Valuev.
As for Wlad-Chisora, we've seen Wlad struggle under pressure by punchers with head movement, and who apply pressure. Look at his fights with Purrity, Sanders, Brewster, Peter 1. Del Boy's granite chin and relentless pressuring style will no doubt cause him nightmares. Wlad can't fight going backwards, once Del Boy has him backing up (like against Vitali) then it's gonna be a long night for Wlad. As for those boasting about Wlad's power, he hit blown up CW Haye with quite a few right hands and couldn't even put him down. Neither Klitschko is like a Joe Calzaghe, who overcame all styles ![]() Fantastic thread Moneypaysbills, unfortunately when you try and make reasonable and objective points about the Klitschkos, the fanboys will be out in their numbers to try and refute, what is irrefutable. |

At last, some more reasonable discussion, with the unreasonable fanboy arguments, it's nice to see someone stick to the actual topic being discussed. I agree that neither Klitscko is like the Italian Stallion. Come to think of it he fought at LHW, so why didn't the Klitscko's try to blow him up to HW and milk him for a payday. I guess he was just too smart for them to sign a Klitschko slave contract

Why do you knobs keep calling Haye a ¨blown up CW¨? He's a full fledged HW now, who according to his own words, was going through hell to make the CW limit.
Sanders was a vicious puncher for all his pudgy ex-golfer body, Chisora doesn't have that kind of power or fast hands, and Wlad doesn't fight in the reckless way he did against Sanders anymore, he's much more cautious and experienced now. |

we know how much the Klitschko's love blown up LHW's and CW's, they reigned over a division of them. Neither Klitschko has the adaptability and versatility of a Joe Calzaghe.
Moneypaysbills, how do you see a fight between Wlad and prime Lennox Lewis going? |

As for Locard, Chisora's pressure means that he will land with volume on Wlad and that will add up. May not be a 2 round KO but entirley possible over the fight. |

I don't think Chisora punches hard enough in a single shot to trouble Wlad. And Wlad is fast and can avoid most of them so I don't think accumulation is a problem for him either.

Haye targeted the "weaker brother" in Wlad and ended fighting like a little bitch.
Love how Haye fans think he is somehow the one to beat Vit NOT based on what he has done in the ring but rather what someone else did. REMINDER HAYE FAGS...David WILL NOT fight the same way Chisora did.He will neither fight with the same energy, workrate and heart. |

But if Chisora, does manage to get Wlad into a tight space, Wlad doesn't have the head speed or reactions to dodge those punches, few HW's do or ever have. So IF Chisora can close him down which would be the biggest challenge the we could see an interesting outcome

Haye was carrying an injury in the fight with Wlad, he was having to take painkillers and injection just to stand and walk, fighting with an injury is horrible, yet he got through 12 rounds with the world HW champ.
I'm not sure Chisora has the power to take Wlad out early, his best shot would be to take advantage of Wlad's stamina problems (see the fights with Purrity and Brewster), and score an accumulation stoppage. The way he can do that is with relentless pressure, and his iron chin. |

Good point KO artist, but unless it was one the Klitscko's carrying it an injury means nothing to these fanboys in the context of a boxing match

I agree that chisora and haye each fought the other brother instead that the fights would have been much more interesting.
