Pacquiao is not demanding 50-50. He is on video telling American reporters he'd take less of a gauranteed purse than Floyd, but the PPV% had to be 50-50, it's on youtube.

Pacquiao will be halfway responsible for any PPV buys and the fight breaking records, that's a reasonable request. He'd be forfeiting potentially tens of millions of dollars allowing Mayweather to be the only one benefitting from the fight selling and breaking records by taking 100% of the PPV.

Mayweather is not even offering 45%, not even 35%, he's sticking to no PPV for Pac. That's a joke and that 0% is a true reflection of how much Mayweather wants the fight.

Is Floyd Sr. suggesting that Floyd is going to take PED's?

Regarding comments he made before his son faced Miguel Cotto when he stated he believed it would be a difficult fight for his son:

ďAlright then. Thatís what I said, and thatís what I meant, and thatís what it was. I never said my son was going to lose. I said he was going to have a tough fight, and I figured that out from my own personal reasons. I figured it all out! I knew he would always have a tough fight with Cotto. If you notice Pacquiao put a hurting on Cotto and made Cotto quit. So I just took all that little stuff right there and added it all up, and I figured out how it was going to come out, and I figured out how Pacquiao is doing all the things that heís doing. So I just figured that out, and figured out how Cottoís thing is going to go with little Floyd. Like I said if he donít get Pacquiao to take the test, little Floyd is going to go down the same pill. So Iím just telling you how it is. Little Floyd could whop them all! He could whop all of them, but sometimes if you donít get on top of things then you wonít be whopping anybody. Thatís for sure!Ē

Yeah that 94 is immediately cut in half by PPV distributors/Network cut...so it's what 47 millionish...surely you can do better than this?

How would he give Manny 40 million and that money not come from PPV revenue...I'll wait.

you have to understand boxing is not an easy sport, this sport we have witnessed Levander Johnson we have witnessed very tragic events at the result of fighters taking tuff fights, McClellon the whole bit we know this.

and we also know Floyd is going to make sure that if he is putting his life his health on the line in fighting a guy like Pacquiao you better believe if he is going to be willing to take a fight that is going to leave him battered bruised and walking funny he is going to make sure if anything that he gets as much money possible for taking such a beating.

and thats what this is about thats why he is holding out, he knows this fight may change the way he feels about the sport, he knows he very well may end up knocked out messing with Pacquiao and like the others that fell before him so why not get all the money you can knowing whats in store for you in this kind of fight?

Floyds not ducking, he is stating to straight up if you want to beat my ass if you want me to sign that contract so you can see me bleed so you can watch me get my ass beat all I want is the highest share of money possible and thats what it is, if you want to beat my ass there is a price

It's a duck by Floyd if he stands firm on his $40 million no PPV offer to Pac. It's equivalent to a 70-30 split in his favor. By comparison, Oscar gave him a better deal being a PPV startup (3 fights with highest buy of 379,000). Floyd made $25 million or 33% (67-33 split in favor of Oscar). Pac is not a PPV startup.

PPV history at time of De La Hoya-Mayweather fight

Oscar De La Hoya

1. Rafael Ruelas (5/95) 330,000 buys = $9.9 million
2. Genaro Hernandez (9/95) 220,000 buys = $6.6 million
3. Miguel Angel Gonzalez (1/97) 345,000 buys = $12.1 million
4. Pernell Whitaker (4/97) 720,000 buys = $28.8 million
5. Hector Camacho (9/97) 560,000 buys = $22.4 million
6. Wilfredo Rivera (12/97) 240,000 buys = $9.6 million

10. Shane Mosley (6/00) 590,000 buys = $29.5 million
11. Javier Castillejo (6/01) 400,000 buys = $16.0 million

Average PPV buys: 614,706
