Rock Marciano training routine?

Does anybody know how he got in great shape h had the best stamina in Heavyweight history.

I read something about this a while ago which might be (or part of) the answer you are looking for - Marciano apperantly loved doing roadwork, even when on vacation he would get up early in the morning, go running and do his training
