Please. I know u never been in a ring. Some of your views are quite humorous. Know nothing about boxing you just churn out the same rugurgitated crap everyone says to make it look like you are knowledgable. I'm not saying Conn is definately no. 1 just trying to spark a debate if he could be rated that high. If people like you looked at things from different angles u might learn a thing or 2.

I think it would be more of a debate if it was a question of rating Conn as the #1 LHW...
One would certainly be able to make more of a case for that argument than p4p... Even if that was the argument/question, he still falls short at LHW. Conn isn't in most people's top 5 LHW, so how could he be considered as a top p4p'er? |

You come on here, say Billy Conn can be rated P4P #1 because he's great and the Louis performance. Yet he lost. Badly. He got absolutely knocked spark fucking out, fought Louis again, and got knocked out for a second time. How can you rank Conn above the likes of Greb, Fitzsimmons, Robinson, Pep, Armstrong, Ali, Duran, etc.? He's simply not of that level. Although he was a fantastic boxer. And what do you mean the overrating of Dempsey? Where would you put him? In the top 5 for beating a fat farmhand in Willard and never meeting a black in the ring? Of course he had other good wins, but also got schooled by a great boxer in Gene Tunney. No insult to the man, but please don't come on here and act like a pretentious bastard. |

Then you start insulting people because they don't agree with you. Welcome to the internet, where not everybody welcomes one in open arms. |

Actually the OP makes a good point, thinking about it Don Curry looked to be a Welterweight on par with Sugar Ray Robinson at times and Lloyd Honeyghan just came in and completely dominated him. I mean has there ever been a better performance that that? I'm moving Lloyd to my P4P no1 of all time
