I think it would be more of a debate if it was a question of rating Conn as the #1 LHW...

One would certainly be able to make more of a case for that argument than p4p...

Even if that was the argument/question, he still falls short at LHW. Conn isn't in most people's top 5 LHW, so how could he be considered as a top p4p'er?

You come on here, say Billy Conn can be rated P4P #1 because he's great and the Louis performance. Yet he lost. Badly. He got absolutely knocked spark fucking out, fought Louis again, and got knocked out for a second time.

Yeah, perhaps the topic could have been interesting if you didn't start saying the single greatest performance in boxing was Conn against Louis. But yet he lost, and lost badly. He got demolished twice by Louis.

Actually the OP makes a good point, thinking about it Don Curry looked to be a Welterweight on par with Sugar Ray Robinson at times and Lloyd Honeyghan just came in and completely dominated him. I mean has there ever been a better performance that that? I'm moving Lloyd to my P4P no1 of all time
