No, but I can see the funny side. And I anticipated it would be met with such a response, hence why I put "Seriously." at the end of the post.

Agreed. There is not a big difference between the fighters one could list from #40 to #60. One has to come up with a list and then give it a best guess as to where Rhaman belongs.

Rhaman at his best is fairly skilled big heavyweight who can punch. He has some quality wins, and was unlucky on three occasions due to incompetent judging and referring. Rumor has it John Thomas has a cracking top 100 list with tons of data on it.

I still couldn't take it "Seriously" though. The bloke would be bottom end of the top 100, and i mean bottom end as in the last 5!!

Yeah, I can go along with that, not that I'd ever actually write a top 100 list to find out.

A lot of people say Lennox Lewis is top 3, so maybe 95 is a bit low for a man who went 1-1 with him in championship fights.
(But I guess Leon Spinks woukd get similar ranking, or lower)

Two KO losses to Oleg Maskaev dont help his case at all.

Then I suppose you can list 95 better? Be careful now, as the 95 will need to have a combination of better accomplishments, and a better ring record. I doubt you can give me more than 75 names without debate.

Rhaman was not a great fighter, but letís not act like he was a lucky journeyman. I think he would be a top ten contender in just about every single era of heavyweight boxing.

He's the most underrated heavyweight ever in a head-head sense.

I certainly rate him top50, his beating a prime Lennox Lewis was no fluke, he outboxed him and tagged him with his big right on several occassions during the fight, and Lewis is a top15 heavyweight, possibly top10.

I would rate Hasim Rahman well below Vitali Klitschko...

Getting past all of the Vitali bullshit, he's underrated. I think some look down on him because of a prime Lennox coming back prepared and focused and destroying him.

Lot of bad breaks in his career, anyhoo.

On the plus side, he's a two-time champ and with some good wins and performances.
Really should be 2-0 against Tua, for one thing.

On the minus side, he also has bad losses and some awful performances.

Bit like your average 80s contender I guess, good one moment then terrible the next. Consistancy and weight problems have been the bane of Rahman's career...that and his all-too-rare left hook.

At his best, he can be a challenge for a lot of heavyweights.
At his worst, um...not.

Outboxed Lewis?? Have you even seen that fight? Lewis won every round up untill the 5th. While Lewis didn't look sharp, he certainly wasn't outboxed.
