That's true, but this is happening on the boxing scene everywhere. People are getting shafted left, right and center. It's not just with Olu.

Morals just don't come into sport, especially boxing. I wouldn't blame team Khan for it. If they can secure a fight for the title, then good on them. That's what you have a good promoter for, even if it is harsh on others.

I have not received formal confirmation yet that the WBC are sanctioning Garcia vs Khan for the 140 pounds world title. At the moment I am viewing it as a report on the website but if it's true then we may have no choice but to go after them.

Marcos Maidana is fighting either on July 14th or July 28th, throw your name into the mix. Ajose needs to be more active, no need to get involved in a legal war with the WBC which could last a very long time. Ajose needs to stay active and build on his impressive win vs Chemba. A Maidana fight is a great opportunity for Ajose!

Surely you guys see where this is going? The fact that the WBC has cancelled the purse bid says it all. They'll make up something to sanction that fight, you can put your money on it.

I think you'd be wasting your time going after them, imo. It's their game and they'll always have a way to win. It's just going to be a load of hassle for you guys while poor Olu will be on the sidelines doing nothing where instead he could be fighting and getting some decent dosh.

They've been sued successfully before, Laz. Hopefully Olu and co ruin them this time. It would benefit the sport enormously.

Its in their rules that a unification trumps a mandatory so if Khan gets his belts back, like he should, then Ajose will have to wait.
