Excellent finisher, around an 8 for me. When he senses he has his guy hurt he goes into this cool stalker mode with his hands down and throws hard straight shots, especially with his right hand down the pike. The stuff that finished Taylor was pretty much the exact same barrage that he finished Bute with.

And even if he doesn't finish his man, he always finishes the fight strong, imposing his will making his opponent work until the fight is entirely over.

He's always ready to initiate the finishing sequence if need be, let's put it that way.

He proved that beyond a shadow of doubt against Taylor.

Part of me wants to say 10 due to Taylor and Bute.

The other part says he never had the chance and never ever put on that "finishing game face" against the other elite opposition: Ward, Kessler, Pascal, Abraham, Glen. But, like you said, nobody knocks those guys out, or seldom even hurt them.

the finish tonight was brutal. Always been between 8 and 9 for me, but i lean closer to a 9 when i think about those body shots

I'd say a good 8. Bute and Mack fights recently solidified that. The only guys he doesn't stop, as said, simply don't get stopped.

Nine for me, those body shots were brutal tonight... me and my bro were watching the fight live and as soon as those shots landed we knew it was over.

Usually when Froch hurts you, he takes you out. A bit similar to SRL in that aspect however not that good.

Leonard's finishing abilities were amazing. LaLonde, for example, was clearly winning the fight until Ray hurt him but once. Then, it was all over.

Apologies for going off on a tangent, but I can't stress how important finishing abilities are.
