Enzo described himself as a man of his word who would give McPhilbin the rematch he promised during the Friday bill, so I hope that this is a genuine injury. He was directly asked about a Cleverly fight and he said 'I'm a cruiserweight right bow' but was open to it down the track. It's as decent as Cleverly's recent defences, but would rather Enzo finished his cruiserweight British title business. If he leaves it as is and vacates then goes on to list British champ among his achievements then it'd be a joke. I like Enzo a lot, but that was not a fair way for McPhilbin to lose his title.

As if the Cleverly - Enzo fight couldn't get worse, Enzo is going to take it on the back of ducking someone who was a fuck up away from knocking him out.
And Frank wonders why Sky didn't want to give him dates. |

Boning someone's limb.
Why have I never heard of this? You hear of all kinds of evil things that people do to each other, but I can't say I remember reading about someone having their leg or arm boned out (de-boned, whatever). Imagine that. Having a leg without a shin bone. Or the reverse, as in having the bone but no muscle from the knee to ankle. Would be pretty horrible. |

I could be wrong, but I wouldn't be surprised if there isn't more to this than meets the eye.
On Friday's Boxnation bill Enzo was given a bit of a grilling by both Richard Keys and Steve Lillis, and I was quite surptised how direct Keys was to him when questioning his decision to fight on. I could see that Enzo looked uncomfortable with the line of questioning, but what with him being such a nice guy he didn't really react. It could just be imagining things, but I would always assume that a boxer about to defend the British title would be so focused and determined, and if his ability was questioned I would expect a more passionate reposte. IMO we may have seen the last of Enzo in the ring, Gary Lockett did say he would tell him if he thought he wasn't up to it, is this what has happened?

Enzo to fight for the world title against Cleverly at Upton Park on the 14th July. Mcphilbin now fights for the vacant British Cruiserweight title on the 30th June the Norwich Showground against Herbie Hide
