It looks good on Cleverly. As far as I'm concerned the boxer should call the shots. If he wants to fight Bellew let him. i hope a lot of boxers see the praise Carl Froch is getting and decide they want/need to do the same and just fight top class opposition instead of bum of the month.

Did you see Bellews twitter after? A random dude tweeted him and said it's a ploy by Frank to keep Belew as one of his fighters... Bellew retweeted it..

this is what the likes of hatton and calzaghe should have done. clev could sit there and fight 10 bums in a row with the excuse "its up to my promotor" now but he has GONE PUBLIC and put pressure on his promotor.

FAIR PLAY TO CLEV

GIVE THIS SCOUSER ANOTHER BEATING CLEV!!!!

I'd have been significantly more impressed if he had demanded Dawson, Hopkins or Cloud

The alternatives were probably all better fighters.

I don't know why everyone got so excited about the first fight.
At any point did anyone actually think Bellew would ko Cleverly? He certainly couldn't out box him. He's tough as nails and he hits hard no doubt, but on boxing ability, Cleverly is in a different league.

Cleverly on wide points decision
