Froch cemented his personal legacy by [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].
The 34-year-old's thrilling victory left boxing fans and pundits alike ranking him as the greatest fighter in his weight division to come from these shores.
But Eubank, who beat Nigel Benn and Michael Watson during a 52-fight career, claims two-time WBC title-holder Froch cannot overlook the achievements of those who came before him.
The former WBO world champion said: "The indivdual cannot write his own history. That is not for him to say, it's for others.
"Carl, what's you've done is amazing, we congratulate you and give you full marks, but it's not for you to say, sir.
"It's not that I don't agree, it's just not for the individual to write his own history otherwise everyone would be doing it."

THREE-TIME WORLD CHAMP ... Carl Froch celebrates after winning the IBF title

While Eubank may not hold Froch in higher regard than himself or the likes of Joe Calzaghe, who retired undefeated after a glittering career spent campaigning mainly at super-middle, he is full of admiration for the Cobra.
The 45-year-old, known as Simply the Best during his time in the ring, added: "As a fighter, he has great heart and the spirit of a warrior. This alone is credit enough because not everyone has the heart of a warrior.
"So many people lack the spirit of a warrior, to be able to show fear, resolve, fortitude and have an ability to box and execute your performance with grace, style and attitude.
"He's got that spirit and that in itself is his prize. What history says about him actually is not really relevant to how he feels.
"He has stepped forward and very few people can do this."

Is Eubank scared of losing 'Simply the Best' tag or something? Froch is showing them all up, Im glad its about time he got the recognition.

Thats a bit of a statement from BJS! Maybe his heart isnt in the game properly, I certainly wouldnt be looking to retire after 1 defeat and so young!
