You can give a shout out to Manuel Ortiz at 118 and Joe Brown at 135. Just looking at the Ring's annual year end ratings, these guys really did a number on their weight classes. However, it was interesting to look at the 1973 heavy ratings because Ali beat every single name on there, albeit, some were yet to come.

here it seems it doesn't matter what was d quality of d division .
Also do such fighters deserve more respect than those who were deprived from doing so by being avoided ?
and what about those who were prevented by d sanctioning organizations ?
such a question discriminates against d multi title era which was not any weaker than d 1 title era .

Those who cleaned strong divisions in d multititle era were :

Sanchez @ 126

Don't know if McCallum @ 154 counts 4 this matter or not , i guess not .

Benny Leonard. Cleaned it. Scrubbed it. Then went back over it again just in case.

As thorough a cleanout as boxing history can boast.

Muhammad Ali - I didn't know any top hw in the 60s and 70s that he didn't fight. Heck, he fought some top 50s and 80s heavyweights as well!!

I think Holyfield at cruizer is a good shout, when Lennox Lewis fought Željko Mavrović and ****** Fortune over guys like Mike Moorer, Foreman/Bowe, he came close though.

No one ever does. There's always someone coming along who they haven't fought yet.
