The show according to Frank is on the way to being a sell out. If that is true, it is a one fight bill, and does not need a 'good undercard' to support it. That would be a waste of future fights, that could make up other shows. I suspect the undercard will be Frank's other 'stars' showcasing themselves in glorified exhibitions.

Of course I'll watch it... I paid a lot of hard earned money (travel, hotel, tickets) the last time out to see Haye hit the canvas and although he went there all night, it wasn't even once in the right way. So this time I'll be behind the telly, hoping Chisora lives up to the promise

If boxing lowers it's standards even more don't complain when it becomes impossible to have unified champs.

dttaylor only gave his opinion. It isn't the only opinion.

The fight should be sanctioned by the BBBofC, Frank could have sorted out the issues with money. There are many reasonable boxing fans who believe the Frank is out of order.

****** has robbed a few fighters and got away with it and thinks he will win every court case. Remember his company that went into liquidation.

Frank has always been a lowlife. Ask any boxer that ever worked with him.

What a fat cunt he is. He's really getting on my nerves now. He's not learning his lesson is he? He really should be walking on egg shells at this stage in the game. Haye didn't have to give him this shot, he's not on Haye's level and now he does this with his record? He's a classless cunt and should try and lose some weight.

Two things

Boxing always has, and probably will continue having shockingly low standards. We have had a convicted rapist biting a piece of ear off his opponent. We have had wife beaters being crowned world champions. We have had armed robbers fight. We have had a killer become maybe the biggest promoter the sport has known...

The unity thing is a bit of a 'red herring' too. In the entire 150+ years of Queensberry Rules there has only been a two year period (in the late 1940's) where there were eight World Champions in eight divisions...

Totally agree!

I'm a boxing fan and I want to watch this just like many others!

Biggest British fight of 2012!

Which has precisely what to do with this? But wait... we'll come back to this shortly...

No, but it is the one that actually has basis in facts. I don't like how Chisora or Haye behaved in Munich, but the Board didn't BAN Chisora nd invited him to reapply for a licence with it or any other sanctioning org, which Frank and Dereck duly did. I don't see how anyone looking at the facts can have a problem with that. It wasn't even a loophole to be exploited!

You may disagree with the fight for whatever reason, and Frank's behaviour, but he hasn't done anything that's actually wrong.

So your answer is for Frank to pay off the Board. Well that does send quite the message about integrity and moral authority, doesn't it? Would you really support any Board that would take a bribe? I think you'd criticise Frank and the Board for it.

Hardly high-standards, is it?

And over 20,000 paying fans (many of whom are reasonable too, including people on here I consider friends) don't have any issue with it. Who are you to judge them?

Agreed, but he's been ****ed over a few times himself. I don't know of many promoters that are decent people. Consider our list of scum: Gary Shaw, Don King, Bob Arum, Micky Duff, Barry Hearn... the list can go on and on. Boxing is not a sport filled with decent, likeable souls. Frank isn't even the worst.

That's a sweeping statement and not true at all. See Enzo Maccarinelli and Paul Smith to mention two.

That last comment pretty much tells me all I need to know about your "reasonable" view. You've got an issue with FW, that's fine, I agree in many ways. But it has no bearing on this situation.
