Default The reason Chisora loses BADLY to Haye

It's all in the styles.

Now, you see Chisora getting rated highly for his performances against Helenius and Vitali, the argument being that "Since Chisora lost weight he is much better" but hold on a second, lets take a closer look shall we.

The first thing to note is that both Helenius and Vitali were injured, we cannot take this as 100% true but if it is true then it no doubt has a bearing, consider it.

Secondly you have to consider what Helenius and Vitali represent. Both are tall fighters who shine against slow, plodding fighters who inexplicably try to and club them out from the outside, if you do that against either fighter you will probably find yourself in dire straits pretty early on.

Chisora however was proficiant enough at inside fighting to come inside on both men at times where he did some decent work.

Comparing those performances to the Fury one, people say the difference was "weight", now to an extent it's possible, but I offer an alternate theory. The difference, was Fury.

Fury is not typical of these tall, range fighters. He is actually deceptivley nimble, and also proficiant on the inside, negating the advantages Chisora showed against Helenius and Vitali.

Chisora will attempt to come inside on Haye, but it's not going to be that simple. Haye has tremendous footspeed, which will befuddle Chisora from the off, he moves laterally, and throws shots from angles, Chisoa has not faced this. Ever.

There is nothing to say Chisora will win this fight, if you just look at it from a styles perspective, Chisora has been fortunate lately.

But this is the same man who who went life and death with sam ***ton, and it's the same man who was virtually schooled by Tyson Fury on channel 5 a few months ago.

Whatever Haye's faults he is a class above and has a clear style advantage, this will be like the Ruiz fight, except worse because Ruiz was a veteran survivor, wheras Chisora is still a relative novice who has not seen what Ruiz has.

Your Grant could beat him Phil. I can remember when he knocked about 6 coppers out one after another outside the queen vic.

Stopped reading here. Chisora's style is a nightmare for Haye, not the other way round.

This fight won't even be close. It reminds me of the Haye/Harrison mismatch. Haye does really well against slow, plodders that come forward in one direction all night and Chisora will get picked apart, easily. I see this fight as a one sided beat down.

haye cant fight on the inside which is where chisora loves to be. chisora got inside on vitali and helenius and everyone else he has fought. haye is overrated and will get clubbed around the ring by chisora.

Haye has the potential to win well but he has the tendency to throw very few shots at times and Chisora could take rounds by being the busier fighter.

Chisora also seems to possess a good chin, which he'll need, as well as the ability to go twelve rounds with top level opposition. Whether or not he can handle to speed of The Hayemaker is another question but it should make for an interesting fight.

For the record, I want Haye to win as I refuse to support a man who beats up his girlfriend.

Haye should win a 8-4 type decision. Chisora will absorb the punishment and keep moving forward. Chisora was able to take heavyweight bangers Helenius and Vitali the distance so there is no reason he doesn't go the distance with Haye.

The Cunt is much more fleet of foot than Vitali (either now or ever) or Helenius.

Del is decent at getting inside, but he's not Frazier, or anything close. All the Vitali fight showed was how far the big man has slipped.

Imagine the Lewis version of Klitschko in with Del.... actually, let's not

Apart from all the styles stuff & each mans strengths & weaknesses- you also have to factor in the mental stuff.

Chisora is young for a heavy, improving by the fight & is hungry as hell. He seems to just be realising his potential, & coming into his prime.

Haye on the other hand? He seems only to be back cos hes missing the limelight. The man has said on numerous occasions he planned to be out of the business by now- but another big paycheque & a chance to be centre of attention has lured him back, like it lures most boxers back.

Chisora has a point to prove, chasing the elusive big win thats going to make him while Hayes ego has dragged him back where he really doesnt want to be anymore, inside a boxing ring.

It has to count for something, doesnt it?
