Default Anyone else worried that Pac was 147lbs??

Pac said that when he was his previous heaviest weigh-in weight (145.75 for the Clottey fight) he had lost a bit of his speed, and that he never wanted to be that heavy on the scales again.

I think Manny's ideal weight for a welterweight fight should be around 143 or 144 (though he could make 140 so easily IMO).

Does him weighing in bang on the limit suggest a tactical change to his training and physical attributes, or does it make you think that maybe he hasn't trained as hard as he could have?

Anyone else think this may be important, or am I reading too much into it here?

True enough. Pac is just one in a long line of former flyweight world champions who was fighting at superfeatherweight four years ago and is now ruling welterweight and picking up belts at lightmiddle.

He's just getting old, probably. But it might be that he didn't dehydrate at all and saw he was still going to make it on the scales?

Don't argue with me, argue with the record books which show and will always show the facts. In reality, Pac won the WBC lightmiddle belt. End of story.

I doubt Martinez would make that without being severely compromised. He's a fully fledged middleweight now. JMO.

Which would beg the question why he's been weighing in at 144 recently though?

Maybe he came in at the limit, figuring he might have to bang with Tim, so the extra weight might be good, just a thought, do want to see what he is going to weigh at fight time.

He just wants to be hydrated as possible...

He will step in the ring no bigger than 150

Shame he didnt win it legitimately against the champ, or at least a fighter deserving to be contending for the belt

Looks to me more like shame on you for being jealous of PAC for winning that belt .

Pac wants to have more weight behind his punches and be the the bigger man on fight night. He is planning a repeat of the Hatton fight.
