What is Michael Spinks up to today?

Apparently Butch Lewis was in charge of managing Spink's estate, even after he retired. Some of the money was misshandled, and even squandered, and I guess Spinks is sueing.

Michael was the sensible one in the Spinks family and spent a fair bit of time trying to help Leon keep onto his money and out of mischief. I imagine he leads a pretty low key lifestyle

Evidently, Spinks and Lewis had an agreement where Butch would take care of his bills for the rest of his life. Well, after he died, his business partner stopped the payments and Spinks' medical insurance got cancelled. Now, Spinks is basically suing so that all of Lewis' assets are accounted for and to make sure that no more of the money is spent/squandered before his business is settled.

Spinks was one guy who got out of boxing and didn't come back at all. And we didn't hear much about him again.

It is heartening to hear you guys talk about him. He is a legend and I have never heard a bad thing about him. I really hope that he is living a financially secure and happy life - he deserves it.
