Default pacquiao Struggles with Southpaws!?

look at this left, right hook to the body, and another left land. then the left lands once again in the combo following that.

This isn't even a true southpaw. Timmy makes the mistake of crossing his feet (something manny habitually does, he crosses his feet when the second left catches him) on the second left, but manny didn't capitalize.

I think this is more due to Bradley being a tricky fighter that tends to smoothly switch in and out of the southpaw position before his opponents realize it.

He's done this in many of his fights. He utilized it very effectively against Peterson. I said this coming in that he does things that fighters from the past used to do, but is not commonly seen today.

But possibly. The last southpaw Pacquaio faced was Diaz, but I don't remember the fight and I would have to look at Pacquaio's guard and adjustements that he made to determine if this is true.

If he fights southpaws like he fights orthadox fighters, he would have a huge issue with certain southpaws like Martinez for instance who would very very likely knock him out.

BTW, I told you Mike Jones wasn't very good.

He's a fundamentaly flawed fighter who's balance is off and he arm punches.

Why you think they kept matching him against journeymen?

Honestly, he didn't look too effective there. That was probably more an act of desperation than anything. Pacquaio was still controlling the distance.

Watch the Diaz fight, and then that will help you determine this, if you know what to look for...

Even though Diaz isn't a great fighter.

Bingo. I agree completely. Close fight. You can easily make a case that Bradley won.

"Pacquiao was still controlling the distance".

All credibility lost right there. From the 7th/8th round on, Bradley was controlling the distance beautifully with his jab, keeping Pacquiao at bay and hesitant. Invariably, after becoming impatient (as Manny commonly does), he'd lunge in thowing wild shots while off balance, many of which were well wide of the target. As shown above, Bradley's combinations, while not powerful, were scoring effectively. Add to that Bradley's high workrate compared to Pacquaio's and it's obvious that the latter portion of the fight was clearly Bradley's, and I'd question the impartialness and knowledge of anyone who says otherwise.
