Default Corrupt judging blessing in disguise???

With Pacquiao getting "robbed" it made it clear that no one is safe these days, fighters witnessed shameless scoring on two high profile fights promoted by TopRank, first on november when Pacquiao got out classed by Marquez and second on the Timmy Pacquiao fight. Not to mention Compubox and HBO Team can't even be trusted anymore, it is very clear that playing it safe and leaving it in the hands of the judges is not an option. I hope this bullshit stays in the back of fighters minds and produces high action packed big fights now. It IS posible to stay technical and be aggressive, hope this takes all these non action fighters out of their comfort zones and makes them fight FOR THEIR W.

Or at least bring back 15 rounds. ****, it's not like today's fighters aren't full of PEDs. Better training methods and better access to drugs. The old greats were able to fight 15 rounds. Those were real championship rounds.

Boxing is dead. For all you know, Pac is behind all this shit.
Now Im agreeing with the old timers, Boxing now sucks and fanboyism, ducking, corruption is at an all time high. Its funny people still care. When I heard the decision, I was laughing my ass off.

The funny thing is that even with all this dope n better training/nutrition conditioning is shit compared to the oldschool, these young fighters gas so quick, even Tim looked gassed early in the fight.

I think so. It's a blessing in disguise the way Lennox losing to Rahman was a blessing in disguise. It shook things up and brought about the Tyson/Lewis fight after Lennox gained his revenge. Perhaps the same could be said of a potential fight with Floyd Mayweather -but who knows. At this point at least it has killed the talks of a Pacquiao/Mayweather fight as everyone is consumed by the results of the Bradley/Pacquiao fight.

I understand what you are saying. I've never seen anger like this involving a bad decision, ever, and that includes Holy-Lewis. On the surface this means change is more likely. Bob Arum is making noises but he's done that before. My guess is that a few days will pass and everyone will go back to normal.

The main thing is that nobody should buy the sequal - there should be a boycott of the sequal by hardcore fans. People can do all the complaining they like, but there is an alternative revenue stream associated with fixes and fudges (scams or rematches). Until we start hitting these people where they live, nothing will change IMO.

And I don't think that will happen.

If it does, the answer to your question becomes "yes." But in all likelyhood i'm afraid the answer will remain "no."

That's why you have to respect Orlando Salido. He went into Puerto Rico, to defend HIS belt and KO'd Juanma's ass. Might not have been pretty boxing but Salido was down on the cards FFS, the fix was in, but Orlando didn't follow the script and took matters into his own hands.

I belive more than half of these fighters with low k.o. Percentages are more than capable of stopping opponents if they took more risk.
