All men who have mastered the counter right hand and right hand lead...where did they learn it from? They learned it by watching film of Archie Moore, Jersey Joe Walcott, and Ezzard Charles. They didn't learn these master techniques by watching film of Jess Willard, Luis Firpo, and Bill Brennan.

Bill Miller, the trainer of toney (and an amateur Emmmanuel Stewart), was a huge fan of Ezzard Charles. I read once where Toney described it as "worshipping at the altar of Ezzard Charles."

I'm sick to the back teeth with Beanstock and co. consistently bringing up Ray Robinson each time the subject of Harry Wills is broached in regards to Dempsey. |

Ezzard charles wide left hook right straight was one of the best combos I've seen I'm 100% sure steward taught lewis the same combination, walcot is my 2nd favorite fighter and moore is my favorite p4p fighter I have most of their fights.
