Very true. Hey total. What's happening with De Mori? A few months you were spruiking the chances of a big US fight in September. I'm guessing thats not on?

Both atrocious results and nightmares for the promoter's pockets.

He just got back from holidays. Still aiming for something late September. As always fingers crossed and Team MDM will only believe it when the bells rings to start the first.

Regardless he is training each everyday. No lay off and getting out of shape for the WBC Asia champ.

Jumping up stairs in a pink feather boa and slamming a tire at a wall in a public toilet is not training

Demori Really needs to step it up now find out where he is at. Otherwise he is going to regret it later in life. I was ring side when Digger Wyborn stopped him and will be the first to admit he has improved out of site since then but needs to fight a Leapi/Welliver type opponent next. other wise he will not improve any more.

I agree 100% as would Mark. His lack of 'stepping up' is not from not being willing. Mark wants to be fighting the guys he has fought recently about as much as you want him to, but when the choice is not fight and wait or do what's he has done, all would agree that is a better choice.

Funny how you get on here and try to talk these same 'canvas magnet' guys up just prior to him fighting them

Just because I think they are more viable opponents for Mark career wise than most of the Aussie names that get mentioned all the time doesnt mean they are the fights I want him to be having.

Having said that, Alexander then Calloway were the exact right opponents for him coming back from a 2.5 year lay off.

His last two opponents Calloway and Weida were both 40 plus year old shells of their former selves. Both reduced for the past few years to nothing more than 'canvas magnets', and mercifully now retired.

He was also scheduled to fight the retired and 40 plus year old Damon Reed, and then Saul Farah, who's career record is almost pure fraud.

Based on a track record like that his next opponent is unlikely to be much better.

nothing wrong with jumping right in the deep end if u have trained properly.

vitali fought sam peters after 4 years off, for the title. plenty thought he had no chance of winning.

de Mori is nearly a year and 3 fights back into it now and time and excuses are fast running out.
