Round 2
Yaegashi is crab-walking in, his left side fronted towards Ioka as he works his way in with downward chopping hooks to the body. Ioka backs up, raising his guard on every step and then plunging out a few jabs. Yaegashi is really hammering the body. HARD rights just above the belt line by Yaegashi. Ioka is trying to answer back with a 1-2 to the stomach but every time he sets his feet to throw Yaegashi materializes underneath him and starts ripping away. Jab and uppercut springing inside by Yaegashi. Ioka clinches. Yaegashi circles left, trying to lure Ioka to the ropes. It doesn't work. Yaegashi jabs his way in, BIG CLUBBING RIGHT HAND! Ioka leans forward and wraps him up. 20-18 Yaegashi |

Round 3
Yaegashi circles right, jabs to keep from getting railroaded into the ropes, then circles left. Ioka is sidestepping to catch up with him, actually eager to exchange. Straight combos by Ioka, whistling over Yaegashi's head as the shorter champion bobs in and flips his gloves up at the cheeks of the WBC king. Ioka plasters his gloves to his face to nip that in the bud, and keeps popping straight shots down at Yaegashi's head. Nice jabs by Ioka now, sticking them and moving left. Ioka beginning to control range. Right hand by Ioka from a pace off, and Yaegashi moves in to hold. Ioka is catching Yaegashi as he pounds his way in, before he can get anything off to the body, then pushing him away while backing up and getting that jab aimed and ready. Nice body shots by Yaegashi toward the end of the round. Ioka on his bike, but he had enough of the round in the bank. 10-9 Ioka 29-28 Yaegashi |

Makes it more interesting for me. Jpanese wont run with if they are leading so it should not matter. For anyone that doesnt know, the winner will have to vacate one belt of their choosing withing a week as it was agreed upon. (Japan giving the middle finger to the sanctioning bodies ?) |

Round 4
Ioka is popping the jab, gliding to his left. Yaegashi is trying to corkscrew left hooks around under his right elbow, and then bashing up top with overhand rights. Ioka finally has to reach out and give Yaegashi the octopus treatment as he gets too close for comfort. Yaegashi is clubbing that body whenever he can. Ioka is trying to reestablish dominion of range with that jab. Plants it flush on Yaegashi's nose. Nice 1-2. Yaegashi runs into one. Jabs to the body by Yaegashi, paying the price as Ioka jabs him in the face. Ioka bends at the knees and hooks the body, but he's having to FLY around the ring as Yaegashi gives chase. BIG right uppercut to the body by Yaegashi, and he tries to double it up to the face as Ioka is doubled over and trying to tie him up. 38-38 |
