Simple question. Disregard who is the best HTH . Who do you think is the greatest
Big Nog [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Fedor [ame]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fedor_Emelianenko[/ame] Personally I think that Big Nog is the GOAT in MMA. But at HW what's your opinion Big Nog beat loads of guys before they got into title contention How do you add a poll after posting? |

Big Nog has the best resume in MMA history imo, but Fedor not only has a great resume, he has the dominant 7 year reign as the no.1 HW in the world and 2 wins H2H over Nog, as well as matching his best win (Cro Cop). They are real close but I think it's clear that Fedor is the greater of the two.

I would say in terms of resume they are between the 3 greatest fighters ever (I would put Hendo in the mix)....
Fedor is greater IMO because he beat Minota...... And letīs not forget something important like that "win" for Henderson against Minotauro in 99 is very controversial...... |

I don't think anybody will ever top Fedors run, Although Dos has already got a good one going. But as for facing the best.....I don't think anybody can touch Nog's resume for facing the who's who. but seeing how Fedor beat Nog that shows who's the better of the 2.

Fedor is the the best. His resume is fantastic, not just the names he beat but how he beat them is what's really telling.
I like nog but he scraped by a few opponents or looked limited at times and vounerable many times. Nogs chin and conditioning and dangerous submissions allowed him to turn a lot of these fights around. but not against fedor and Barnett who were able to match nog in skills. I would have liked to see a third barnett fight, maybe it's still possible. |
