HBO2 Series set to debut with Orlando Del Valle vs. Vic Darchinyan, Sept. 29.

According to The Scene, HBO2's new series will kick off September 29th with Orlando Del Valle facing Vic Darchinyan in the main event, along with Edwin Rodriguez and Thomas Oosthuizen in seperate bouts.

This is good news. It's supposed to be HBO's equivalent to Shobox.

No, not as a pro. He did have an amateur fight (1998 I believe) that aired on HBO against Roberto Benitez. Roy Jones called him "Darcheeyun."

I know Vic, he's a killer machine, but Orlandito? Never seen him fight. If those donkeys are relying to run around like yamanaka and Moreno did, then this fight is going to end in another ****ed up mess. With Vic you have to stand in the pocket and exchange. That's what Vic is made of, to fight like a varrior, not runner like a scared fox on the run. If Orlandito has the nuts, then he'll make a good fight with Vic. We all know that Vic is the raging bull, he's the wild beast in the ring. He comes to fight not sissy around like a cat.

Damn on the site it says HBO2HD is on channel 1914, I didn't even know it went above 999

Edit: Yeah I checked, it only goes up to 980 (ESPN3D)

As far as I'm concerned, HBO only has one HD channel and HBO2 is not it.
