Food for thought: Mauricio Herrera was also a +550 underdog against Provonikov.

150 on the 'under'.

Ruslan makes banta food out of soft chinned, light hitting Mexicans.

Herrera isn't soft chinned (nor Mexican strictly speaking...Mex-American), but he is certainly a light hitter...

When I say he's soft chinned, he's soft chinned... don't make me bring in the chincheckers IB!

Reynoso's chin is only half as soft as Duran's, as he has only been stopped half as many times.

Duran was also a light hitter with a measly KO percentage in the 50's.

Would Provodnikov make mincemeat of Duran? Or is he excluded due to not being Mexican?

You have a point there, but Duran has the undenyable advantage of being Argentian. I don't rate the man though because he was clearly a cheater with his hands of stone, wich we all know is clearly against the rules of boxing!
Edit: no wait, he's from Panama of course.... Well it doesn't matter anyway, all those European countries are alike! F#cking kangaroos!

Ah, that's right, his birth would be shortly before the annex of Argentina by Panama in the mid-fifties. So technically an Argie, yes.

Unfortunately he must have been of weaker peasant stock than our present-day iron-chinned heavy-handed Argies. Very light hitter, very soft chin.

got nothing back from my reload bet on appleby, so I got nothing to bet on this fight. otherwise I'd bet a little on reynoso and draw.
