I'm sure we can all agree, one of the best pvp'ers of all time.

How many times did he beat Archie? About a thousand?
No disrespect to the Mongoose, just kudos to Ezz.

Another fighter that didn't have everything fall into his lap during his career, leading us to evaluate him based on his entire career and the circumstances.

I still remember a picture of Ezz on the steps of a 'courthouse?' surrounded by black and white children with him hugging and talking to them. It still brings tears to my eyes. Athletes today, for the most part, don't appreciate how fortunate they are to be in their position.

Unfortunately,

Ezzard had a 'bad' late career.

Maybe, one of the worst for an ex-Heavyweight Champion.
