Chael needs to be on the look out. when he comes in Silva is gonna try and time a Seagal kick. When timed correctly that kick cant be taken. We have all seen it twice in a row now. If he can avoid the Seagal, he could have a chance.

Any comments or questions on Seagals training methods? Steven Seagal is one of the greatest fighters of all time but there was no MMA in his prime.

Im sure Steven could have helped them (well Anderson, he didnt teach life long karate guy Lyoto sheeeet) with technique on the front kick...but Anderson even having Seagal in his training Camp is some epic trolling

That is not a proper Seagal kick technique period! Those are just lame front push kicks. The whole point is to go low, come up straight then extend late where they never see the kick coming. Steven has spent 30 years perfecting that. Randy had no idea what the hell hit him.

You can see that coming. The whole concept is to catch them off guard and put then put them out cold. The differnce between the two. " don't push" enxtend ( through the target)

In pic one can see Silva pushing off with the kick.

Pic two you can see him extending and exploding into the target, putting more powe r into the shot.

Wait a minute!! Machida and Silva have both credited Seagal in interviews with those kicks. Seagal didnt invent the front kick. He taught them a technique that is harder to see coming, generates more power, and how to time it. Machida and Silva would both admit that.

It wasnt a push kick by the way , as I said earlier he just didnt lean back into it to gain enough leverage and Hendo has a brick for a head and his head was tucked so it caught him more in the throat
