monte was coming off 1 win, draw, draw, ud loss, ko loss, ko loss in the last 4 years. i can't figure out how beating him has cameron world ranked tbh.

Because of the belts he won. Win a regional and you'll likely be ranked. Surely you're aware of that though. Plus I think Monte is ranked at 12 or so by the WBO currently. I believe Alex's comeback opponent has been sorted anyway.

regardless, being ranked only means so much really.

just remember welliver was happy to tell everyone of his rankings in most orgs, and willingness to fight klit for the title. losing his last fight showed it meant nothing if he wasn't actually capable of competing with the top fighters.

hopefully shane can get some cash out of his position then.
