I think Quartey was at his best 95-97 but this fight wouldve been absolutely epic.
I'm probably in the minority thinking Ike wins but there would be plenty of fireworks in this, Tito could find himself on the canvas a few times but has the power to stop virtually any WW in history if he lands flush. Quartey on points but I wouldnt bet on it |

Let's say, Quartey deserves it on most fan/journalist cards but likely doesn't get it? That I'd roll with as a very likely outcome.

Ike is very underrated.
One of the things that bugs me about Trinidad was that he was at 147 for many many years, and he never unified. He was champion at the same time as Pernell Whitaker, Ike Quartey, for many years, not 2 years, 4 years, but many years and never unified...Oscar De La Hoya comes in, FIRST fight PERNELL WHITAKER, then Ike Quartey, Tito Trinidad, Shane Mosley in just a fraction of the time Tito was there. |

Tito late KO..probably whilst slightly behind on points.
Quartey gets tired, gets lazy with his right hand...how he throws it, how he snaps it back to cover his right side..he tends to get a bit open to the left. You give Tito a sniff and it's as good as over. |

This is a fight Tito and Don King clearly avoided; its the true definition of ducking... Someone posted ODLH's run at 147 and it by far outdoes Tito's longevity at 147 (something folks clearly "seem to forget" when talking about ODLH and Tito ).
